My first earlies went in 16th March ... today they have loads of flower buds... seems way too early for this? They've only been in 7 weeks. They variety is  swift, (and they seem to be!    ) Haven't grown them before. Do they normally start to flower so early?

I kept looking at them every time I passed by the spud patch today while I was there ... and thinking ... Nah! Can't be ready yet! But was busy with other stuff so forgot about it till I got home  :roll:

HOW do people do this day in & day out, ALL day, in blistering heat etc? People employed as gardeners, landscapers etc? They have my greatest respect, cos just 2 days of it and I'm good for nowt
