I searched the search and couldn't find an answer, perhaps too simple.

I sowed some perpetual spinach in my greenhouse and several seedlings have come up in little cluster, so i assume i was sowing multi-germ seeds.

They have just got seed leaves, should i thin them out now? and are they very root sensitive, should i cut them or can i transplant into the gaps?

Also, while i'm here, i did the pea in gutter thing, and tried to plant them out this morning, for a poor pea that doesn't like its roots disturbed, it must have been a traumatic experience.. Whose idea was that?  What did i do wrong, and will they recover, having been manhandled into place instead of sliding undisturbed into situ?

I usually sow perpetual spinach direct, try to sow thinly but dont bother to thin - just cut and come again. I 've just cut down last years row to see if it will come again. I'll still sow some fresh though.

Dont do peas in gutters cant answer that one
