We've just had pork chops with parsnips, cabbage, leeks - pity I had to buy the spuds. It was all lovely but for some reason the kitchen floor is covered in mud.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Last night's supper was roast pork & crackling, roasty potatoes, steamed carrots, brocolli and cabbage, mashed swede and apple sauce - all veg from the plot, apples from the garden, pork from butcher. v. yum.
Gardening organically on chalky, stony soil.
