I've stuffed a marrow that should have been a courgette.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Stir fry and noodles - only home grown things in tonights tea is chilli and peppers.  Still makes up for last night when daughter had Gardening Dregs Risotto, ie poorly formed sweetcorn, 4 dwarf beans, 4 tomatoes, green pepper. 2 sickly courgettes.

Hey, my shopping bill has reduced by 25% since I've got stuff out the garden; it may not be a complete meal, but it's a home-grown one!

The only thing I didn't grow was the sausage meat, a slice of bread and an egg. Stuffed it with a pound of sausage meat mixed with finely chopped home grown onion & sweet pepper, crushed garlic, various herbs, bread crumbs & egg.

Served with runner beans, oven baked tomatoes & pink fir apple spuds tossed in olive oil & more chopped herbs.

Sorry - forgot the olive oil as a non-home grown ingredient.

I'm probably having a huge tomato salad, a mix of at least 3 different ones, with some goat cheese and balsamic dressing. Yum! I don't walk away feeling like a penguin. Also have a courgette I might slice and stir fry with onions, garlic and bit of mozzarella. It's MYO tonight.

As much as I like salads, if you're like me, putting about 6 hr a day into physical work, you need a bit more fuel input!
