i have 1bantam cock, 2 bantam hens , 1light sussex cock, 2 light sussex hens , 6 road island reds , i got the bantams to hatch the hen egs as they are allegedly good broodys , thinking that the sussex cock would service the hens  , but i was shocked to see the bantam jumping my hens , I wanted light sussex or sussex/red crosses but am now in shock , will the eggs hatch ? !!!!! What have i done !!!!!!!!  :?

Spring is in the air and nature will take its course. Where there is a will there will always be a way :D  :D  :D
Happiest in the countryside.
Breathe deeply, and let the butterflies fly in formation!

No size definately isn't important...my young peacock was covering the little bantams last year   ...you couldn't even see them underneath him! They didn't seem to mind and trot round after him when he visits them.  :)  This year he's been given the message by the new kid on the block...i.e. "Clear off mate, I'm the cockerel here!"

You just can't stop those boys...!
