Wow! I bet they'd be pickle heaven! You could use different chillis to give an element of danger to the snacking  :D

my mate did em with large pickling onions and he served them sliced so every piece had a sliver of red chilli in the centre. They looked beautiful and tasted fab so I thought I'd have a go. Hadn't the patience I'm afraid  :D

I used the paris silverskin last year, they germinate well and make decent spring onions, they grew faster than my white lisbon spring onions so none of them got pickled as I ate them!  I sewn the last of the pack last month into modules and they are doing well in the greenhouse.
Avoid fruit and nuts.  You are what you eat.
