My wonderful speckled girl has advanced bumblefoot and I'm really hoping she can come through it (antibiotics early days). It has spread to her toe and she limps. Two vet visits this week already.
Thinking ahead - if I have to lose her I'll have just one left.  I'd like to find her a friend.  Is there a simple way to find a retired older girl?  Most breeders offer POL or chicks..

Any suggestions very welcome. xx

Hi nerdle. Nice to hear from you again  :)

You could try Preloved or Pets4homes to see if anyone has older girls to retire.  You do sometimes also see people re-homing ex-bats, who are younger but have a fairly short lifespan once their laying days are over.  It might be worth getting 2 so if you lose another you are not in the same boat again.
