Chicken entertainment.

Unfortunately we have to keep our 2 chickens penned up. Any ideas to keep them entertained and free from boredom?

An apple on a feeder to peck at or a cabbage hung up keeps mine occupied

Turn over the soil in their pen occasionally and install a nice dust bathing area.
Give them cabbages etc.
Sometimes mine are penned up in bad weather and I sow surplus vegetable seeds in trays and give them the whole tray to enjoy.
