We are still on the chicken and rice.  I had stir fried veg with mine.
It's bit concerning he's not over that yet Shoots - what did you do to the poor fella.

Nuffin’ honest

He had a tummy bug on Thursday but insisted on eating his tea.  I said starve it out, but not having a meal is a big deal for him and he finds it very hard to do, even when poorly.

He was fine for a while, then overnight it had its revenge and he was really ill for the rest of that night and for Friday.  After that he said he felt like he had been punched in the stomach about 100 times and was in washed out dishrag mode.

I was working today and by the time I got home he had eaten his chicken with instant mash, sweetcorn and gravy, so all better now  :)

I’m working up to tea, but not sure I have energy for much as it was a bonkers busy day.  I’d like MoS’s tea, but cold baked beans sound good.  Opening a tin and grabbing a fork I could just about manage and I love them cold :D

I had to google bucatini. Never seen that around here, perhaps it's too cultured for us northerners...

I'm at a complete loss today, it's shopping day tomorrow and I have nothing of interest left. About all I can think of spicy veg rice but there's no protein to go in it  :(

HM meatballs and tomato sauce
Leftovers, with more veg and lentils added, to make a thick soup, with some crusty bread.

Shopping day  :D It's supposed to be breaded cod and a few chips but we'll see if they're delivered and if anything is close to the use by date.
