Anything other than the Toms in the filling SP ? Looks like a tomato heavy quiche, hard to see what this is to dislike - but I think that about most pies
I went with the chilli yesterday, but I regret not splitting the mince as I'd prefer cottage pie rather than leftovers today.
The 3 pounds of tomatoes are joined by a filling made with chopped bacon (I use the turkey bacon as I can't eat mammal meat; allergy), shallots, garlic, basil, chives, extra sharp cheddar, mayonnaise, a little dijon mustard, and oh yes, one egg.
The crust is all purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, butter, vegetable shortening, and buttermilk.
