Chicken curry, rice and salad bits for me. Making a big potful, so, some tonight the rest portioned up for the freezer.

Lamb curry from the freezer with buttery spinach tops and sea kale picked in the wet this morning, one head of garlic Rhapsody dug (a: curiosity and b: last year's nearly finished), a few tiny volunteer spuds dug because I need that bed tidied and Brassicas planted out (not today Josephine after all, now pouring down) and another 150g strawberries (this time last year I was picking 4kg every 2-3 days). Garlic and spuds to add to some lentils for a dahl and strawbs just to eat. Might make a curd tart to go with them. Clear that main spuds need another 6-8 weeks and garlic 4-5 I suspect.

Chicken, oven roasted with lemons, rosemary and garlic. Served with broad beans and a tennis ball sized beetroot that was starting to bolt.
A warming dinner for a less than warming day.

Liquor with stewed eel juice or the easier modern version with some fish stock

We have pork and mushroom stir-fry with whatever greens I can muster  :)

Cottage pie tonight. I have all day to make it so no excuse.  Whatever Veggie I can find in the freezer as I'm out of sync with the shopping again.

No cottage pie yesterday as there was a spud emergency only 1 being left   I'm stuck with either spag bol or chilli tonight with the left over mince beef.
