Split Pumpkin
« on: August 14, 2023, 15:49 »
I went away on hols last week. As it had rained fairly heavily for the week previous(and I'd still watered the pumpkins a bit), I told my allotment friend nothing would need watering. I came back on Friday to a split pumpkin. It doesn't look like it's gone all way through, but is it doomed anyway?

Shame, I'd bring it indoors to ripen it, where you can keep an eye on it - left outside it may get a bit bigger, but there's more chance of it rotting  :(
