I've made the last of the mince into a chilli, plain long grain rice to go with it when I can muster up the energy.

Just put the stuff for a beef stew in the slowcooker. Cabbage and carrots leftover from the other night and I can probably find the time to do some mash.

Got mince defrosting for curry, might roast a b/nut squash and put it in that, rather than cook rice, as i'm a bit fed up with that for now  ::)

Sausage casserole and mash as requested by himself.  He's apparently been clearing out one of the back rooms where there has been a leak and so has been in and out of the shop and shed all day.

I bought a stew pack of veg from work yesterday so we had a beef stew today, but the diced beef I thought I had in the freezer was not there.  I substituted with meatballs and it was fine.

I added some red lentils in to thicken the sauce, some of our last plot spuds and topped the whole lot off with dumplings.  The dire weather this afternoon called for some stick to your ribs stodge to make us feel better

Told a lie , I found ready washed salad leaves in the salad drawer when I got the white cabbage out
