Hope not - I started some off yesterday!  ::) :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I normally sow mine the first week in May, but it was too cold then, so mine went in on Thursday.
Definitely not too late.

In a bid to improve both the speed and success rate of germination, I've been sowing parsnips later and later over the years - usually about now, although this year I sowed about a week ago.

That still leaves plenty of time to grow large parsnips where I am - worth sowing 4-5 seeds per station to make sure you get at least 1 plant per station given that even at this time of year they take 2-3 weeks to appear, after which re-sowing might well be a bit on the late side.

Take suitable precautions against slugs and snails - some apparent 'no-shows' are quite likely to be due to their nocturnal feeding excursions.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

Thanks for all these replies, I had forgotten to sow some so many times, I sort of gave up worrying!

Thanks everyone who replied. It gives me hope
I’m aiming to try and sow in loo rolls or similar and plant as soon as the leaves appear or I believe the roots won’t be happy.
Hopefully a good crop this winter

Although I’ve had to start going to the greenhouse at night with a torch to catch a slippery snail in the act which has eaten it’s way through several seedlings
