Ends for a cloche
« on: March 28, 2019, 07:12 »
I've made up a couple of cloches (peaked roof shape), do they really need the ends "walling-up" ? I'm struggling to find something suitable, someone mentioned 'Correx' but I can't find a local supplier ... any thoughts please ?

They do need end,s so see if you can find a sheet of Perspex or similar and cut it to shape.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I used an old piece of twin wall polycarbonate, and some old sticks I found.  Mrs Bouquet

Cloches do need ends, or they act like wind tunnels, which rather defeats the object. In the absence of anything better, I use clear plastic with sticks through it.

Excellent, thanks to one and all ... I found some old "signs" outside a shop, made of corrugated plastic, should be ok !
