I've only got a tayberry that I bought in poundland last year.  It had 3 berries on it last year, but has grown loads this year and has quite a few buds on it!

I had a look in Poundland and they only have blueberries and flowering bushes in stock at the moment.  When is the best time to plant a logan/tayberry?

If it's a good deal, Grannie, I'd get them and pop them in now, as they'll like to get ready for next year anyway!

We have lots of fruit bushes from chums, and just chuck them in when we get them , and tell them (the plants, not the chums)  to get on with it!

Usually works!

Being clumsy  ::) I managed to break a branch off my jostaberry a couple of weeks ago  :nowink:

With fingers firmly crossed - I cut the top 6 ins off and stuck that in a pot with a placcy bag on top - it seems to be working  :) (in other words, it ain't dead yet!)

and while pulling weeds, my hand found a gooseberry plant that I haven't planted (ouch!) - the birds must have helped me out and planted it there

I bought a blueberry from Poundland a couple of years ago. When I came to plant it, it was just a stick in a pot - no roots at all!.
