Hi, for the last few months I have been doing an experiment with sawdust and urine. We make a lot of dust as we have a wood burner and the build up was getting in the way. There is an on going experiment in America which is using human urine to fertilise farmland, much like our past and the night soil trips to the midlands etc. I am using our council brown bin to hold the mix and I have also added kitchen scraps and coffee grounds and it has had many turns so far, when the weather warms up a little I will add red wrigglers to speed up the composting process, Dave

Urine is a know activator.  Many a pot of urine has been chucked over my compost heap!  Should give lovely compost.
