I'm only awake cos the cat jumped on my head  ::)

and yes, it's miserable out there  :(

Our cat walks up and down on Mrs Plots until she gets up, lets it out and then feeds it. When Mrs P is away I get a gentle touch on the end of my nose from the cat's nose. It works.  :)

The cat knows better than try the rough stuff with me.  >:(

Not many early mornings for me recently... too many hospital trips to be bounding about when the birds get up... but I'm making up for it in bus journeys.

Haha, with the better weather our little terror is using more energy with trying to rid the world of crickets and other delectables, so when he does come in (sometimes have to let him in in the early hours) he sleeps, rather than crawling all over me.

Morning Paul :)

Morning all. Just mustering the energy to do some light housework  :( before going off to the plot.

Tosca, I bet watching the tiny terror stalk crickets could be very amusing. How good is he at it?

He's very good Surbie, and relishes what he catches, I can watch him for hours and luckily have the time to do so. Also the little duckling being raised by our broody chicken is highly amusing, I can't believe how high he can jump after those flies. He's a proper little forager and so quick. Poor 'Mum' can't keep up with him.

Raining here too,  but it's supposed to stop between 10 and 11 so there will be a drop off stuff and little tidy visit later morning, but for now I'm printing labels and getting the next lot of packets of seeds together that need to be sown.

Not had many very early mornings recently apart from this morning.. couldn't stay asleep... Mrs Plots was sat sitting propped up in bed on a pile of pillows with our pussy-cat sitting on her purring away like a buzz saw.

It was the cat's row that woke me up.

It's taken me until now to flick the pooter on to tell you.  ::)

Nothing like loud, sudden noises to usher in a new day😐. I was awakened by my dog, paws on headboard, barking at something. Fun😑
Here's hoping you have a restful rest of the weekend.

Morning all. Off to a car boot sale soon, more of a social occasion this time as not much made with being ill. Weather set to be cooler, around 23c, so more bearable than of late

Good morning all. A brightening sky here at 5:30 when I hung the first lot of washing out.

My mother home from her 3 week hospital stay so back to normal but not a bad night - only up three times so feeling OK to face the day.

Might get something done at the far end of the garden on my veg plot if all goes well.

It's one of those nights, I just can't sleep.
Come down here for a drink and a surf and will go back to bed in an hour and try again

Going to be up to the thirties here today so we have been out weeding before sunrise. OH went off to get fresh milk from the farm and came back really worried as the farmers, who are in their eighties, were not up and he's never known the gate locked. I pointed out that 7.30 is a bit early (10 is more normal) ....he thought it was 8.30.
