He 'helped' me pick veg and is now fast asleep for the day. The wicker harvesting basket is a great plaything for a small cat, but I didn't really need the spinach shredded.  Still don't like cats but this one's a character.

Busy morning in the garden, blazing sun. First job...those pesky Colorado babies, The missed ones have caused so much damage the plant was lifted to reveal seven tiny taters. Plants either side sprayed with neem, plus two others and their neighbours. They will not beat us. Then pulled the first sowings of peas and beans (while still young and tender) and froze what was still on the plants. Weeds strimmed . Now shower before an all day party half an hour away. Could do with a kip

Went to a chiropractor yesterday for the first time and boy, don't I know it!!!
How can one little T4 spinal joint cause so much trouble? And I wish I knew how I upset it in the first place??

Good Morning Snowdrops I have cheated a little I have found a lady who will come and do my weeding its the one thing with my knee problem I find hardest.

That's not cheating Dugless, that's being sensible & not putting undue strain on your knee. Sounds like a good plan to me

if by any chance anyone is interested, I am up at the moment the pain in my knee was so bas I had to get up for more pain killers, If I carry on like this they will not only kill the pain but probably me as well
