Nice to see you are all still here.. (or there ).

I'm intending to get my sleep pattern under control..eventually. Very little of it last night... too busy fussing about my hospital trip early Wednesday. It went well... excellent staff, lovely colour monitor although not the picture I would have chosen for inflight entertainment. Thank heavens the camera was a small one

Up-shot: Me dead tired but given the all clear... drink plenty of water for then next couple of days.... and we'll write to your GP. (Waste of ink that'll be). Scans, x-rays and pretty pictures done.

I'm not sure why it took two doctors (one male and one female) and two nurses (one male and one female) to investigate the inside of my bladder. I said I didn't need holding down but I'd talk a lot to help me relax.

Got to return for scan of my kidneys next month but hopefully no cameras involved for that.

My mother: bright, cheerful, cracking jokes, found a "toy-boy" as the porter is "tall, young, dark, handsome and single" and she is generally the darling of the ward according to the staff. She wants to come home for a roast dinner with pork crackling........ so getting better rapidly although the oxygen is helping at present. A few more tests and decisions about medication to go.

Hope your mornings show promise.  ;)

We have booked a fortnight at Tsivili. Thank you for advise as to where not to go girls I just hope where we will,be going will be ok.😊

I don't think it has changed hands since the last time I went, so I can recommend The Golden Fish for fish and chips and Gyros.
I also used to be silly/have a great laugh at the Fantasy Mini Golf - if you go in the late afternoon or evening make sure to use plenty of mozzie repellent as the holes are over water and waterspouts (all prettily lit up with coloured lights) There's a bar at the start of the courses ( I think there are 4 to choose from) and you are allowed to take your drinks around with you, if you like.( It always seemed to improve my scorecard if I did  )

If you get a car there's a restaurant called Aeras on the road to Porto Vromi. It's built into the edge of the cliff and the view down to the sea and the cove below is truly amazing. I'll never forget the colour of the sea there.

I'm gabbling a bit so I'll stop there, although there are other places ..............................  :nowink:

Morning all. Ducks were calling at 6 this morning - let them and the hens out and went back to bed and did not wake again until 9.

Haha, Sevi and a pile of ducks.....no! Even a cuckoo sounds monotonous after a couple of weeks, but I wouldn't change it. The nightingale is just lovely, and so many of them about.

Morning all. No "musical" start here this morning, I think the damp start to the day has quietened things a little.

At the in-laws and have been up for a couple of hours, waiting for the rest of the house to stir. I've likewise been catching up on diaries and wondering whether I can sneak in a visit to a garden centre...
