Morning - I'm running about an hour late because I could not fall to sleep last night - Doh!

Still not sleeping too well, still too hot (except one glorious night) but have been busy this morning, made three batches of bread, a batch of pastry and char grilled and peeled a bucket of peppers given by a neighbour and a handful of chillis from the garden. Also watched Bake Off and vet programmes.

Just having a cuppa before doing the chutney, then gorgonzola and fig quiche (another neighbour gave us figs) then start on making seasonal cards.

Not much really. Good job I don't lie in bed till midday!

I am late because the dammed computer had disconnected to the internet for the fourth time this month.
although it showed I was connected I was not.

No so bad if you aren't working I'm of to a 3 day steam rally at Earls Barton so a chill out weekend.

Madam C = A Lady Womble and Steam Engines    so who is the enthusiast they hubby or you?

Oh has 35 stationary engines he will take one to show I just enjoy staying in the caravan any where. Its pleasant to look round the stalls and vintage vehicles and there are dog shows ect in the arena lots of good food and company too.

Morning all, been up since 6. Hubby brought us tea in bed , so now I'm up having my coffee before pegging out the washing. Off to Hinckley to buy fish & get my new specs adjusted in a while. Scintillating life I lead

Morning everyone - seems quiet on here today!

Up at 6 to let chickens out (now looking distinctly moist) & need to pack for a canoeing expedition this week… I'm being picked up at 10 and think I should have been a little more organised.

I have the single malt though.

A belated good morning, a long story but I am absolutely fed up with talk talk I think my router is faulty they do not have an engineer available until September

If so surely they will send you a new one - others do (with a returns bag in case it wasn't the router after all.)

Sorry to hear about your problems with TalkTalk. I've recently changed to this isp and couldn't be happier with them. Dead on time, did exactly what they said they would do and speeds 10x faster than previous company!

Such a massive improvement.
