Productive morning :) Up at 6am, house cleaned from top to bottom ready to go away for a week to South Africa on Wednesday, now baking in my living room watching Andrew Marr, then to do a couple of tip runs.

I will be working, but very exciting none the less as my first time to RSA. May well get some downtime on Sunday so that will be nice, but get to visit some very interesting farms so looking forwards to it! Have been to Zimbabwe, thats the closest.

Morning all  :)

First day of my week off, but woke up at 'work time' anyway  ::)  Never mind.  I now have a good long day to potter about doing precisely what I want, when I want :D

Dead headed the nicotiana before they closed up for the day and spent an hour or so tidying the 'cottage' border, planted some pot grown chive plants, cleaned out three chicken houses and weeded the seedling bed. Venka my neighbour stopped me to give me a plate of freshly made pizza and I managed to tell her where Dave was and what he was doing....in Bulgarian! Will not start again till tonight.

Now watching Countryfile and will be spending the rest of the day in the shade or indoors..pickled onions and cakes beckon.

And of course we are two hours ahead of you lot, so not that efficient!
