Hi MC ......Too late to find out you can't hypnotise yourself when baby comes  :nowink: shame they didn't tell all those ladies on one born every minute that my wife loves to watch  ::)

Morning all from a soggy and battered Bulgaria. Already itchy and lumpy from being bitten when letting the chooks out and surveying the estate. Bit of a mess but there are still some fruits on the trees and some maize and sunflowers standing. :)

What a year it has been for weather out here.

Hi Tosca.  Windy is the worst- just beginning to see the difference where am using windbreaks on the plot.

Just got up and seen the promised rain didn't come in quantity, and there was me thinking I didn't have to water yesterday  ::)  Will be doing some bucket moving later I expect.

Morning. Feeling shattered after another stormy night...or rather morning. Started about two hours ago with strong winds rattling everything, gave up at 4.45 when I realised I was not going to get back to sleep. OH snoring away with Bella dog who uses stormy weather as an excuse to get on the bed. Bonnie lab is hyperventilating down here with me.

Ah well, won't have to water....again!

We're fine thanks, but I am Grumpy! >:( Few more branches from trees which are were laden with fruit, more fodder for the wood burner. We are certainly paying for the mild winter. Never mind, there are a lot worse off than us. OH has gone to the glass merchant in the local town, but by all accounts he opens when he feels like it so you have to get lucky. ::)

One upside, we have only had to water once this year apart from pots (can't believe they are still on the outside steps) Water costs money here. :D

Well, that was a bargain! OH took the whole window and came back from the glazier with all four panes replaced and sealed, but instead of plain glass it has tinted textured glass suitable for a bathroom which looks on to next door's garden.

And all for the pricely sum of.....less than £4!

That's cheered me up a bit. :D
