Morning all, at last I can get out to the lottie  been away from it all week besides the hour or so there yesterday evening. Have an important delivery to a posh Castle later today a chance to put my posh frock on

Morning all. Done a bit of weeding and made pickled beetroot, just waiting for OH to finish skyping his mum so that I can chop the onion and apple for beetroot chutney. Busy busy.

I zonked out early last night - too much heat/sun and a busy day at work, so up early today    Last day at work to get through today before I have a week off

Morning all.  Day off today but up at the usual time of 5.30 am.  Going to England today to visit my mum in Hospital.    Hopefully we'll get some answers today about what is going to happen to her.

Morning all, not doing much today probably on the allotment most of it even if we just sit in front of our shed and enjoy the view  got some swede to plant out oh and maybe I should sow some more seeds of broccoli which I have been sowing in succession and more runner beans so yes more to do than I though  have a good day everyone

Getting on well with the weeding, nice cool breeze (we don't get much breeze) but OH having a rant about the weeds some of which are over five feet tall and is threatening to weedkill. Hoping he will calm down as I want to be as chemical free as poss and the only weedkiller available locally is roundup which is what the locals use to keep their patches weed free. He's wanting to know what is planted in the onion/garlic bed which HE pulled the fore mentioned alliums from as it is under a shagpile of self seeded fennel, grass and milkweed....that is why it is not a priority. The wet weather has meant we can't get on the land which is strangely gluey and super slippery all at once and means you come off the garden on stilts of mud! Ideal for growing triffids.
