The stalks are thick, the spears are a bit short, the leaves are very plentiful, and the purple bits are smaller than last year.  I can't remember the variety but it was the end of last years packet.  They have been very well watered in fact they are standing in a clay bog at the moment!  Don't get me wrong, we will eat it, leaves and all, but I just wondered really.

Looks good to me. Still waiting for mine. Only put in 6 Claret plants last year but they are huge now, won't be long.

I hope so, mine's just edging towards flowering (Rudolph) so cut the larger heads off, they are stubbier than shop brought ones at this stage.  Loads more coming on.

I grew PSB for the first time last year.  I have been eating it for a couple of weeks and it looks just like this.  Great crop definitely going to grow it again this year
