Hi,

Harvested all our garlic last weekend and we're well pleased with it - especially as beginners.  Some of them seem to have started growing new cloves part way up the stem though, about 2 inches above the bulb.

Is this normal

Yes they're fine.

They can be grown on but are probably too small to be worth bothering with.

is they way they would grow new bulbs in the wild..
i tryed to grow them on ,potted them up oct,,,waste of time done nothing
