Hubby went up and laid an 18 slab pathway using the old council slabs ( large ones which are blooming heavy) all on his own, he dug a bit more, moved three gooseberry bushes which my dad had planted. ( right next to where he parks because wait for it he wanted to keep his shoes clean )  ::)

Pulled six lovely leeks, not huge but lovely. And got very very very wet  ::)

Didn't do anything on the lottie today, still far too wet. But I did potter round in the garden pruned hydrangeas, weeded, trimmed hellebores. It really felt like a spring day at last and when I went out to the shop later I saw my first baby lamb. La, la, la la la...

I took up some kitchen waste and stayed to move the old polytunnel frame (I grow peas & beans up it  ;) ) to this year's position.

Still too wet to dig  :(

Had another great day on the plot. We have now finished all the wood chip paths which means we can now walk all round the beds without walking on the mud which in this weather is a must.
We also cleaned out and removed dead wood from the black currant bushes and burnt all the old wood and rubbish . Another very productive day. :D
