First ever 'Sungold'...
« on: July 20, 2013, 07:14 »
We had the first ever one yesterday, so many thanks to everyone here, who recommended them!

'Gardener's Delight' hopefully next, then we'll do battle with the 'Black Krim', which are still the ugliest tom I've ever seen, with probably the best flavour!

I'm sure BK won't disappoint.

Just remember to scrape a few seeds out first!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

They're from the seed you kindly sent me, DD, and this is their second year!

There's one still growing in the greenhouse, which must weigh a pound already, and it's a real brute!

I play about with tomato varieties almost as much as I do with peas, but BK are on my "must grow" list.

Well done, mine are all small and green, but looks like a bumper crop this year with new quadgrow system.
Kind Regards
