pulled them up.they went all curley and very yellow.nearby plot holder said it was the straw in the manure had been sprayed with someting that kills tomato plants,,2nd year with no toms     last year it was blight

I'm wondering if your plot neighbour is referring to aminopyralid... If so, have you no potatoes or beans, as these are affected by it too. It would be a shame if it was just yellowing from a deficiency such as magnesium and leaf curling through inconsistent watering.

yes i do have runner beans and potatoes  beans are ok,,most poatoes are ok with a few yellow leaves,and a few with blackleg i think
