Could it be anything to do with the height from ground to coop door, as in they want to feel like they're going high enough up to roost....hence they can easily jump on top of it...is there scope to elevate your coop, if you get my drift....

I think i get what u mean lol. The coop door is 1ft high off the ground and the total height of the coop is 4ft they fly all the way up there, we had some cooler nights.. I guess im just gona have to keep trying :)

One more question, my broody started laying again and i gave her only 1 antibiotic about week ago. Should i disregard her eggs or can i eat them? I have thrown 1 away. What are the reasons we cant eat the eggs?

You will need to consult the vet who prescribed the antibiotics for the egg withdrawal period.  I am sure you don't want to eat food that has even the slightest traces of antibiotics in them.   ;)

Just keep putting your birds on the roost bar each night and they will adjust to their new home in time.  The only reason they may not want to go in as your will be aware is if you have a red mite infestation.   :(

It is best to shut them into the house for the first 24 hours you have them and they get the idea. Unless you can put a run on I wouldn't shut them in the house whilst it is so warm :)
