Do birds like swede?

I have some really good swedes on my plot, they were stripped of the leaves but came back well , 3 rows of them and they are about half the size of a rugby ball

  sooner or later something had to come good

turnip though a disaster, straight to a big stem with loads of flowers ..... ie seed
