Help!  Haven't been able to visit the plot for a few days and today found that some of the shoots on my potatoes are frost damaged - eek.  What to do?  Do I leave the brown dead tips or do I cut them off?  Will there be new growth or am I doomed?  Should I fleece from now until the end of the month!  They were earthed up so it's only the tips but I've no more soil to earth them any more.

 My potatoes  were frost damaged two years ago .

 They recovered , but were put back a few weeks .

 I'd keep an eye on your local weather forecast ,and take appropriate action .

Thanks for that!  Feeling a bit better now.  Am I right in thinking it's better not to cut off the damaged bits then?  (You can it's only my second season  )
