Hi
When should we start covering the rhubarb to force it? Is it when it's start growing again in the New Year? Also, the weather has stopped us splitting and moving it-is it too late now?

Also, how long should you leave nettles to 'stew' when making nettle feed?

Providing the root is at least 6" diameter (ish) it can be split now and replanted. Try to keep a good amount of soil around the root ball. Cover the root with straw or sack to keep the worst of the frost off while the plant establishes it self. I would not force a rhubarb plant under two years, anyway I think the wait is worth it and unforced 'barb has a better taste. IMHO.

Yes, cover the crown as soon as you seed the buds fattening up

You can move rhubarb any time that the soil is workable, sooner the better though.
