I remember last year, a sunday roast was made using everything from the garden except the meat! I felt really proud of myself shame I can't grow the meat!

Even more excitement hopefully in a few weeks when you should be eating your  own veg to go alongside your spuds.  Sheer bliss

That feeling never goes away.  I have been growing my own since I was a kid (just tomatoes then) and I still get a great feeling when it's ready to eat.  I have been known to cut the first ripe tomato in half and share it with my mum as we have a bit a competition with tomato growing.

After starting growing in March I'm finally starting to reap some rewards and hoping there are more to come!

It is so exciting growing something from a tiny little seed!
