The dif is not much really, DNS, just two dif varieties, geographically speaking, which is a big dif.(now I'm confusing myself) Anyhow, as far as I know, Swede is Swede as so called for a turnip that comes from Sweden.

Rutabaga, in other countries, the Swede is called. :roll:

if you have turnip you can throw them in now as i have do they provide a tasty treat during the winter ,we grow acres of them for sheep feed when the girls are let on them i wil take a piccy ,cant promise i will know which of them is lulu n sophie loren

Hah, I spotted a swede (according to previous posts and my seed packet) in the supermarket today and it was sold as "turnip"  

Looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't know the difference
