I was wondering where I can buy large quantities of allotment essentials as advised in John's Books:

-Fish Blood and Bone
-Lime
-Nitrogen rich Fertilisers

Are there any other essentials i've missed?

My allotment association gets them wholesale in large 25kg bags but most people just buy them from us in the smaller 2.5kg amounts.

When you say you need large quantities, what do you actually mean by that?

(NB I'm not touting for business, just comparing the different quantities).

Ironmongers and hardware stores will sometimes carry these items without hitting your wallet as the garden centres sometimes do (allegedly)!   Cheers,   Tony.

where abouts are you? if you're in the south you'll find mole valley farmers/ scats do large, med and small bags and they are really cheap compared to garden centres.
any agricultural merchants will do these essentials
