Should I add bfn at the time of sowing and planting or sometime before?

I add mine a week or so before hand and rake it in. It really doesn't matter if you forget and end up adding it at the same time as sowing though

I use it every 6 to 8 weeks through the season on my sandy soil!

Ditto to both of Mum's points (although I have to use Growmore or pelleted chicken manure instead otherwise I have a fox problem!)

Someone wrote on here some time ago that bfb can take a while to be absorbed so as Mum says it's best to use it regularly.

hi guys , put on bfb leave upto 2 weeks make sure its well watered then plant away
