hi, i have been to pick up three turkey chicks today and they were fine at the farm running around chirping etc but since i got them home they have just remained in the same spot laying down and have been like this for almost two hours. Is this normal and they are just recovering from the trip or are they poorly? Is there anything I can do to help them at this point?

Are they too cold?  What temperature is your brooder?

no i dont think so, its 37 degrees under the lamp but cooler away from it. they may have been a little whilst travelling. they have moved around abit now but still seem quite compared to my other one! (mine is 3 days old and these are two weeks) im not sure if travelling has just taken it out of them (does this happen?) they are alert just seem tired!

the chicks are all doing fine today, infact they are mental , i think they must have just been tired from the travel and being put in a strange new place and i was prob worrying over nothing.
