I am growing potatoes in bags.  I have put some growmore mixed in with the compost at the bottom but I read somewhere I should feed with potato feed.  Last year I didn't put any growmore in and just fed weekly with Phostrogen.  Can I use that again this year and when should I start using it, bearing in mind the growmore is in there and I don't want to overfeed.

potato feed? i personaly give a feed of growmore when digging over the area to be planted then the occasional hand full of chicken pellets through the growing season.

Vitax do a potato feed. Growmore has a NPK of 7:7:7 and a potato feed is something like 5:5:8.
Have a look at rose or tomato fertilisers. They have a similar set up.

As Ivor states you should really use a balanced potato fertiliser so that you don't get too much growth above the soil in the haulms and small potatoes at the root.
