Yes very good, what ever reservations I have about Colin Boswell and his family the Garlic is the best.  He has travelled all over the World to get the best, pity he pays so poor (sorry, going in to Island mode there again).  It keeps well and I personally wouldn't grow anything else.  As I said, we bought ours 5 years ago and now have our own 'strain'.

I grew one of their collections and the cloves were good quality, well packaged with lots of instructions and recipe ideas. They grew beautifully and I ended up with tonnes of luverly garlics  :)

If you plany garlic in the Spring a couple of weeks in the veg section of the fridge ensures that they have a cold spell. From what I understand the cold required is only a period below 10 degrees so if it is planted in Feb or early March it should be OK anyway.

doesnt cover p&p for nr ireland ... but £6 for 3 bulbs of garlic to ireland seems steep to me, so they wont get my business either!

Totally agree,
They didn't get my business last year because I only wanted a few bulbs and I wasn't prepered to pay that much out on delivery! They must have had my details from the half processed order and rang me to see if i was having problems with placing the order and I told them yes, the delivery charge made me choke!
As i wanted to plant lots this year and the variety pack is great, with the free delivery it's very reasonable.
Ring them and moan!  ;)

You can probably buy garlic from your local garden centre which they get from the Garlic Farm.  It might be cheaper for a small order.
