One of my Chuck sounds like Darth Vaider, she is eating and drinking ok and is still laying.  She is on some tonic from the chicken shop, should I take her to the vet?

What is the tonic for ?

How old is she and how long have you had her ?

She is about 30 weeks old. I've had her since about 16 weeks.

The tonic is an organic tonic with oregano extract and is specifically for colds (I believe). Don't know the name of it but could find out.

No discharge is coming from her beak and looks ok, but she sounds flemmy.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about colds in poultry but there should be someone on soon who can offer some advice. I would suggest you may be better off with some anti-biotics from the vets, rather than a herbal remedy.

Keep checking by and you should get some useful answers.

How long has she been sounding Darth?  
Was she inoculated when you bought her. (usually all big producers inject against stuff)
Is her comb coloured ok (normal colour not pink rather than red)? tail held in normal position, not drooping or down? Err and nothing to do with Darth but PHOTOS and LAW.

She would seem to have an infection in her air sacs as she doesn't have a nasal discharge or bubbly eyes.  There are a number of things it could be but a vet would need to tell you what they are and to treat her with antibiotics.
