Mumofstig`s avatar is my favourite squash.I have grown this Thelma squash alongside the butternut and it out grows it on all counts........more fruits,sooner,larger.I have already started to use them in soups and stews.

Chances are,I shall not be growing butternut squash again!

Is there much difference in flavour between butternut and Thelma please?

I was about to yank out my plants yesterday and spotted a squash about 6 inches long  so they had a reprieve just hope it has time to get a lot bigger then rippen
