That's a shame that you have to give up your lottie, but at least you still have your back garden where no one can tell you what to do!!

I think you should be able to go back onto the list for a new lottie when you're in a better position to do it... or if there's a massive long list, ask to be put straight back on if it's going to take a while for your name to come up.

If one of our tenants gave up theirs because they couldnt devote all of their time to it then that would make me respect them a lot more instead of the one's who have no intention of going back or doing anything and just let it set weeds everywhere!!   :evil:

With your PTA and Playschool contacts surely you could drum up some interest with the other parents and kiddies, eg get them to learn about veg growing from an early age.

Any of the old fa*ts that were hoping to disappear to the alltoment for a quiet weekend would be really pee'd off - I know I would be

So sorry that you have decided to give your plot up  I feel as though they have let you down.

You sound a real pillar of the community what with PTA , Parent guv'(thats hard work I've done it ) etc just the kind of person allotment's everywhere need.

 Glad however that you have the space at home to grow your own   'n spuds well they are usually cheap enough to buy. Good luck with growing at home, and I will look forward to seeing your posts on how much & what stuff you are growing from there.

Thanks Guys.
I am happier for not having to worry about finding the time to get up there.  All my crops are ready or have been harvested, so don't need to worry about that. Was supposed to going up to clear it today but Jon has had to work :evil: , so will go up tomorrow when he WILL be at home (hardly see him with his new Job, but a lot more mnoney coming in for me to exploit ).
Right better go and make some lunch.
