do you reckon? From what I've seen, cats treat mice like practice hunting... they'll play and pat and tease the mouse until it dies, probably of shock and exhaustion... the mice didn't appear to have been mauled in any way... but for the "real" hunting they go for pigeon-sized birds (at least my cat did), maybe a little larger, and if you're "lucky" they might bring the feet back as a trophy... our cat would wait in the long grass for the birds to fly in, and when it caught one, it would eat the bird, feathers and all!
