Nothing outdoors, the chilli seedlings almost came a cropper when my OH was doing the hoovering though . Carried on trying to get rid of the couch grass roots and all  :tongue2: Had the little one with me, she enjoyed making soil castles and playing with the wrigglely worms  :D :D

Parsnips
Onion sets (two bags of Sturon and I'll be putting some Red Baron in later)
Radishes (marking the 'snip rows)
Beetroot
Leeks in a tray

Last weekend's caulis and broccoli have come up, they should go well in mushroom trays.

and i tidied up the raspberries - i was ever so good; chopped off all the old dead ones and tied the nice new ones to the frame!  :tongue2:

and i bought compost and ericaceous compost (for when my blueberries arrive)

My module-raised garlic went in last week; and the onions from seed yesterday (under cover but cool).  I put my maincrop broad bean seeds in in modules under cover but cool (they'll go out pretty much as soon as they're up: this is just mouse-prevention), and a few sweet peas ditto.  I also started some pansies and violas indoors, to bed out in the shady bed in the frost pocket for the summer - I think they're man enough to handle cold, shady damp all summer long!

4 different kinds of tomatoes on the window sill.  I am growing Tigrella, Suncherry, Tumbler and Money Maker.  That will be some for me and some for my Mum and we will give the rest away.

Give toms away?? never in this world :D We will have about 20 plants maybe more and we scoff the lot between the 2 of us, or make sauce and freeze or if I am really lazy (which is fairly often) pop them whole in the freezer and use them within a couple of months. :D

I sowed red cabbages, and started the successional sowings for summer brassicas.  They're in modules, in the cool but under cover.

Nothing today, but started cabbages, sprouts, caulies off in GH a couple of weeks ago that are looking good. Onion seeds and leeks sown at the same time are showing slowly. Chillies are going great guns..toms (old seed as an experiment) have done nowt, but no worried about that.  Ive been concentrating on getting the plot planting-ready and having a great time. So great I dont want to go to college this week  :(

More peas, broad beans, radish, parsnip, calabrese, cabbage, carrot, sprouts and garlic. Some folk have put tatties in! But they're wishing. May put some lettuce in under a cloche tomorrow.

Put some spuds to chit yesterday, helped on friends allotment in the afternoon, came home to find strawberries have arrived, so today the plan is to finish clearing another bed, plant out the strawbs and sow saladings on the remainder.
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
