Putting tomatoes outside in a plastic greenhouse???
« on: April 11, 2008, 14:59 »
We are going away from 20th April and wondered if you would risk putting your tomatoe plants out in a plastic greenhouse thingy (the upright type with three shelves)???

The sotrage is in full sun on a south facing patio, so the neighbour will have to water, but wondered about frost risk?

Mine are in there and they survived the cold snap (that's in London though)
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Be sure to anchor it down so it doesn't up-end in a blowy night!
