Friend or foe?
« on: March 16, 2014, 21:43 »
I was digging today, and came across the occasional whitish grub, about an inch to an inch and a half long.
Any idea what they might be, and whether I should have splatted them? I didn't, just in case there was a vague chance they were friendly!

Cheers
Steve

You could always just leave them on the surface for the birds to eat.

I generally reckon that things that don't move very fast are likely to be foes, because the only thing they're going to catch is your veggies.
