hi kept the hens in for three days when we converted the shed into a coup, let them out yday and watched them from the conservertory thinking they would go in there but 2 of them got in the guy behinds tree!. couldnt tempt them down ive 4 hens by the way. theyve all had 1 wing clipped and im going to take out anything tommorow that they can hump on as they jumped on the kennel i originaly put on for them to sleep in. if there in there in the morn that guys not going to be happy. thort they would love it in the shed as there food and waters in there and its cozy for them. any ideas pls dont want to fall out with him at the back x :mad:

I think you will need to get them used to coming for treats, use a tin with mixed corn rattling (reward them with a little each time).  Keep them in the shed until they respond to the tin and then use it to entice them in the shed before it gets too dark.   ;)

Go and tell your neighbours what happened; you'll find they'll laugh. If you don't do that, but they see you taking a lot of interest in their garden, then they will wonder what is going on.
Once you've removed the birds launching site they probably won't go back into the tree.
Was the shed used for something which left a residual odour (dogs, rats, etc)? A good dusting with DE will be useful to remove odours and repel mites.
BTW shows that wing clipping isn't always an answer ;-)
