I too need French Tarragon as we cook a lot of french and continental dishes.Italian oregano:Maybe from Franchi seeds ?
And French Chevril?

Franchi are brilliant - I buy a lot from them and you tend to get a lot of seed for your money.
I think oregano is basically the Italian herb - the greek one  has softer leaves and a different taste and I wouldn't think it would be as hardy, although I managed to keep a plant alive all winter in an unheated greenhouse!! 

I've had a chunk of oregano on the lottie for qbout 6 years now and it keeps coming back! It must be happy! :happy:

The French tarragon is delicious but notoriously tender and sometimes doesn't come through the winter, so propagating it from dividing it up is a good idea

The Greek oregano is really hot, surprisingly so
