Hi. Our allotment site is plagued with what we think are bank voles. They eat the seeds and fruit and their holes and tunnels undermine established plants, making them keel over.  Don't want to put poison down but any ideas how to deter them please would be very welcome.

I had a rat run over my foot this afternoon, would have attempted to stomp on it but was only wearing flip-flops. A neighbour cornered and killed one in his shed this evening. Time to get the traps out.

That is probably the only other solution for your mice/voles, unless you employ a cat.
